Fall Wreath

Making a fall wreath isn't as easy as I expected it to be.

Here is what I have so far:

And here is what I have left to use:

I don't know how to go about incorporating the leaves and flowers in with the bow. Help?

  2. I always want to be good at stuff like this...

I think that maybe you should put some of the leaves/flowers into the base of the bow - kind of a concentrated little area... and then spread them out gradually.

But, like I said... I always WANTED to be good at stuff like this.

Can't wait to see the final product!

  5. I love making wreaths! I would stick the leaves and flowers in the wreath and find an arrangement you like. I kind of like the notion of balancing the upper part with the flowers and leaves on the bottom part. Or you can try and leave the bottom bare and have the flowers come out around the bow.

I don't think any way you arrange it will make it look bad! That's the beauty of wreaths! Plus, just stick them in and try it out, leave it that way for a day and if you still like it, hot glue that baby together!

  7. Looks lovely! I would tuck the leaves in first in the bare spot where the bow is not covering. Then tuck the flowers in.

My mom makes a new wreath for our front door for every season and when I was younger I would always go to the craft store with her and help pick out the ribbon. Love it!

  8. Wow .. I am impressed. I can never make my own stuff. It always ends up looking like a two year old made it. I once took a wreath making class and that turned out pretty good but only because they basically told us exactly where to put each piece.
