I have survived the first half of the first week of school. I have spent most of my time getting my office together and organizing everything for the school year. I even took pictures of my office on my BlackBerry. I am not done decorating; I need to fill my walls with posters, but you can get an idea of where I spend my days!
My desk
My filing cabinet plastered with motivational sayings from the principal. I have since filled the two empty bins with my test kit materials.
The SLP let me steal some of her magnetic letters, but didn't have enough letters for "psych*ologist"
The view from my desk
Inside my desk drawer
I have enough pens/pencils/markers to last me my entire career
I heart Sharpies
My shelf filled with all my books and binders

Hope you enjoyed my office tour! Life is crazy the next two weeks, bear with me while I am MIA.
Love your office =0) Good luck this school year!
ReplyDeleteSee, I don't think I would be cut out to be a teacher. My first thought was that I would leave the room and some rambunctious child would take the "logist" off the board and leave "psycho" haha! Thank you for being a teacher :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are all set up and ready to go! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteawww I love that you shared this!! Totally neat as a pin, til the kids show up :) xo

ReplyDeleteLooks fab!!
ReplyDeletewow - you are hella organized. I like things to be like that, but because my mom always did that, I don't know how. Want to come over and do that to my home desk? I will cook you your favorite dinner... and give you my firstborn...
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I also share your love of Sharpies and have a similar collection at my desk!
ReplyDeletelooks like you are ready to roll for the new school year!!
ReplyDeletei love pens and sharpies too!!
YAY! It looks great love. I know the kiddies will feel very safe and homey in there!
ReplyDeleteAs an european teacher it's fun to see "american " office and classroom : my school is very old and i'll show some pictures in my blog soon !
ReplyDeleteYour office looks fantastic! And you have so many fun activities and stuff. My heart started fluttering in my chest when I saw your big basket of Sharpies...they are my absolute favorite, EVER. The extra-fine markers. I am totally in love with their new non-bleeding pens, though...I just wish they came in a pretty rainbow of colors! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the office!! :)
You are so lucky to have a desk- a lot of my teaching friends back home aren't so lucky to get their own desks and classrooms!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new school year!
I love your office...and what a fine Sharpie collection! Jealous!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous of your sharpie collection! Everything looks great :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say, you're very organized! And your office is nice and big (even if you have to share!) I'm literally in a closet at one of my schools--I only have room for a child sized desk for my computer and a teeny table for testing. Groups? Forget about it--I can maybe fit two kids max in that space
